Job Description

As a Security Officer Driving Patrol Role in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine driving patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will deliver outstanding customer service and communication while supporting a caring team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity in every interaction.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, service calls, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns through established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance, access, and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas to help control access, observe site activity, and communicate with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Support daily operations by providing directions, answering questions, and assisting with routine security-related requests while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
