Introduction on functionality of open position

As a Proposal Coordinator – Non-Standard Proposals (HPGR Services & Crusher Liners), you will be part of a globally connected Consumables Proposal Team supporting mining customers worldwide. The role is responsible for coordinating, preparing, and managing technical and commercial proposals for customized aftermarket solutions. You will collaborate with Sales, Product Specialists, Engineering, Service Centers, and Supply Chain teams to ensure complete, accurate, and timely submissions while maintaining clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Job scope

• Coordinate the preparation and submission of non-standard technical and commercial proposals for HPGR Services and Crusher Liner solutions.
• Review customer inquiries, tenders, and RFQs to identify technical requirements, assumptions, risks, and proposal deliverables.
• Prepare proposal documents, customer correspondence, cover letters, commercial schedules, and supporting documentation.
• Draft and manage customer-facing communications, including clarification requests, proposal submissions, follow-up correspondence, and internal stakeholder communications.
• Collaborate with Product Specialists, Engineering, Sales, Service Centers, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to develop complete proposal packages.
• Compile bills of materials, costing information, technical descriptions, drawings, and supporting documentation required for proposals.
• Monitor proposal schedules and proactively follow up with stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.
• Support proposal reviews, approval processes, pricing coordination, and governance requirements.
• Maintain proposal templates, standard documentation, and best practices to improve efficiency, consistency, and proposal quality.
• Support customer meetings and proposal clarification activities when required.

Skills and requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Mining, or a related discipline.
• 3–7 years of experience in proposal management, sales support, proposal coordination, application engineering, or technical-commercial roles within mining or heavy industry.
• Experience with HPGR technology, crusher liners, crushing equipment, wear products, or mining aftermarket services is considered a strong advantage.
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to prepare professional customer correspondence and proposal documentation.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
• Ability to understand technical documentation, engineering drawings, customer specifications, and commercial requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to proposal quality and accuracy.
• Proven ability to work effectively within global and cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and business systems used for proposal and quotation management.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese; Spanish is considered an advantage.
