Responsibilities

• Manage the recruitment, interview coordination, and administration of the yearly college and high-school construction trades internship programs
• Manage and perform full life cycle recruiting to include sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing top talent
• Organize and attend college career fairs and the follow up to include phone screens, interviews, assembling offers, etc.
• Responsible for the selection of summer interns to secure the necessary summer staffing requirements.
• Manage the internship program to include scheduling learning sessions and scheduling exit interviews
• Manage the onboarding process to include coordination with Human resources and IT in securing resources
• Develop and post engaging job postings on job boards, industry-specific sites, university websites, and other venues
• Update and maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and recruitment database per each stage of the recruitment process
• Manage and coordinate all communication with candidates as well as the scheduling and logistics of all interviews between candidates and those interviewing
• Draft all offer letters and send to hiring managers; send approved copies to candidates
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with the company’s operational leaders, external professional organizations, colleges and universities, and industry contacts to identify qualified leaders and professionals

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience with employee onboarding
• Knowledge and experience with employee training and development principles
• Knowledge of employee retention strategies
• Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems
• Competencies in Microsoft Office Suite
• Well organized, efficient, and detail-oriented
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are required to effectively attract and support candidates in the hiring process
• Possess an enthusiastic and positive attitude, in addition to a strong work ethic

Physical demands: 

The work is mostly sedentary with periods of light physical activity. Employee to walk or stand for short or mid periods; lift and carry up to 20 pounds; climb stairs, bend, reach, hold, grasp, and turn objects; and operate standard office equipment (computer, keyboard, phone and printer). The work requires the ability to speak clearly and to see and hear clearly with or without correction. 

 

Work environment:

Primary work is performed indoors in a standard office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Work is subject to inflexible deadlines. Employee may be subject to work beyond the normal scheduled work hours.

 

Telework:

As a full-time corporate-office based job, this position is eligible for teleworking in accordance with the Company’s Telework Policy. Approval by the position’s supervisor and Division President is required.

 

Pay Range:

The expected base pay range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors such as qualifications and experience.
