Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We currently have an opportunity for a Finance Shared Services Specialist in our Shared Services Department, located at the Richardson Building in Winnipeg.
What You Will Do:
- Own assigned purchase to pay and order to cash processes, reconciliation, master-data, payment, billing, or shared-services activities of a moderately complex nature from receipt through resolution.
- Apply established controls, policies, approval authorities, and segregation-of-duties requirements.
- Investigate transaction, workflow, data, billing, payment, and cash-application exceptions; escalate high-risk or non-standard matters.
- Monitor accuracy, open items, deadlines, and service issues, and maintain complete supporting documentation and audit trails.
- Support multiple companies, business units, transaction types, and systems, as assigned.
- Contribute practical recommendations that improve accuracy, standardization, controls, turnaround time, and user adoption.
What You Bring:
Required:
- A combination of accounting education and relevant work experience.
- Experience in purchase to pay and order to cash processes, general accounting, or finance shared services.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, analytical thinking, and follow-through.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Assets:
- Two or more years of related finance or accounting experience.
- Experience with ERP, cloud accounting, workflow, payment, billing, or collection platforms.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; exposure to Power Query or Power BI.
- Interest in automation, systems testing, process improvement, and digital finance tools.

- Pagero, PTMX, SideTrade, Bourque, and comparable workflow platforms
