Working hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday As Channel Manager - Acquisition (Private Sector), you'll take ownership of the performance of a defined acquisition portfolio, helping to grow new business while maximising value across existing customers. You'll combine commercial awareness, analytical thinking, and strong stakeholder collaboration to ensure opportunities are translated into measurable results. Working in a highly performance-focused environment, you'll identify risks, unlock growth opportunities, and help deliver strategic priorities through disciplined execution. You will: Drive acquisition and in-life performance across your channel portfolio, delivering against commercial, financial, and customer value targets. Turn channel priorities into clear execution plans that support business objectives and deliver measurable outcomes. Support the successful delivery of trading plans, proposition launches, and commercial initiatives through effective coordination and execution. Manage acquisition inflow and customer lifecycle activity in line with agreed commercial frameworks and governance requirements. Take ownership of portfolio performance, balancing new business growth with value optimisation across the existing customer base. Use performance data, KPIs, and financial insights to support trading decisions and maximise channel performance. Monitor results closely, identifying risks and implementing targeted actions to address performance challenges and protect value. Collaborate with Trading and Channel Management teams to translate commercial insights into practical actions that improve outcomes. Contribute to financial planning, forecasting, and delivery, ensuring channel performance supports both current-year and future-year objectives. Manage customer P&L considerations, including work-in-progress tracking, value optimisation, and delivery alignment. Support the execution of Margin Improvement Plans and revenue opportunities, ensuring initiatives are delivered effectively and benefits are realised. Maintain accurate channel forecasting and planning activities, aligned to governance frameworks, financial cycles, and business assumptions. Partner with commissions and wider business teams to validate sales performance data and ensure compliance with commercial controls. Deliver performance insight across areas such as retention, usage, customer value, and churn, helping to identify opportunities for improvement. Turn analytics into focused, high-impact interventions that strengthen performance and forecast delivery. Build strong relationships across Go-To-Market, CVM, Marketing, Propositions, Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to achieve shared goals and unlock value. You have experience in channel management, commercial performance management, or a similar customer-focused growth role. You bring strong commercial awareness and can translate strategic objectives into effective operational activity. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities evolve and decisions need to be made with confidence. You combine analytical thinking with practical problem-solving to make informed, data-driven decisions. You are confident interpreting performance metrics, commercial data, and financial information to drive action. You have experience managing or influencing commercial performance against KPIs and revenue targets. You are a clear communicator who can explain complex information in a simple, engaging way. You build trusted relationships quickly and can influence stakeholders across different teams and levels of the organisation.
