The Role
Bottomline is looking for a Program Manager of Platform & Operations to grow with us in a Hybrid work environment out of our Pristina, Kosovo office!
This person must be able to work hybrid, with 2 days per week in our Pristina office!
The Bottomline Platform & Operations PMO is seeking an experienced Program Manager to drive, execute, and manage cross-functional initiatives within the Platform & Operations organization across our global business. In this highly visible role, you will lead value-creation and business transformation programs including migrations, infrastructure and platform upgrades, end-of-life and remediation initiatives, vulnerability management, and other strategic operational programs. You will thrive in ambiguity, drive timely decisions, and ensure seamless coordination across diverse stakeholders to deliver impactful, cost-effective solutions while continuously improving delivery processes and operating with candor, urgency, and a high-performance standard.
This role demands a collaborative, delivery-focused leader who can navigate ambiguity, drive decisions, and coordinate effectively across cross-functional teams to deliver measurable outcomes.
How you’ll contribute:
- Program Leadership: Lead cross-functional delivery; build plans and roadmaps aligned to strategic goals.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Strategic Alignment: Ensure programs align to business goals and maximize impact.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate business, engineering, and vendors to keep delivery on track.
- Change Management: Drive adoption through change plans, training, and user support.
- Resource Management: Coordinate resources and budgets to meet program needs.
- Risk Management: Identify risks, implement mitigations, and adjust plans to minimize disruption.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure deliverables meet standards; run reviews and post-implementation lessons learned.
- Continuous Improvement: Track performance and feedback to identify and deliver enhancements.
- Reporting: Provide clear status updates and dashboards; track KPIs against objectives.
What will make you successful:
- Required: 8+ years in program/project management in a technology environment (Platform/Infrastructure/Operations).
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Required: Proven delivery of cross-functional programs (migrations, upgrades, end-of-life/tech refresh, remediation, and/or vulnerability management).
- Required: Strong execution fundamentals (program plans, roadmaps, RAID, dependencies, stakeholder management, and executive reporting).
- Preferred: Experience in regulated environments (e.g., financial services/payments/SaaS) and change control/audit expectations.
- Preferred: Familiarity with security and risk concepts (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures, patching cadence, remediation tracking, risk acceptance).
- Preferred: Certifications: PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner; Agile certification (CSM/PSM or equivalent).
- Preferred: Master’s degree (MBA/MSc) or relevant postgraduate qualification.
