Description
Are you motivated by creating safer workplaces and driving change across an international organisation? As our new Health & Safety Partner, you will help shape how STARK Group strengthens standards, builds engagement and turns Health & Safety ambitions into practical impact across Europe.
At STARK Group, Health & Safety is a business-critical priority. We operate across Europe and the UK, combining shared standards with strong local ownership and you will play an important role in bringing the two together.
Your Role and Impact
In this Group-level role, you will work closely with senior stakeholders, business unit leaders and local H&S teams to strengthen governance and embed standards that work in practice. Rather than owning local operations, you will enable, challenge and support the business in bringing Group ambitions to life.
You will play an active role in strategic projects, support continuous improvement and translate priorities into clear actions. To succeed, you will need to navigate complexity, build engagement across cultures and keep focus on initiatives that make a lasting difference.
A key part of the role will be the continued development and adoption of our H&S platform. Working closely with Group IT and the business units, you will support digital and near-miss reporting and change activities that will help create a stronger safety culture across the organisation.
Your work will include shaping and delivering Health & Safety and compliance projects from scoping through implementation, communication and adoption. You will support the continued development of our H&S platform in close collaboration with Group IT and the business units, use data and insights to identify gaps and challenge current practices, and help ensure common standards are practical, relevant and consistently applied across markets.
What You Bring
You bring the confidence to lead from a Group perspective and the curiosity to understand what works locally. You enjoy turning complexity into clear direction, building strong relationships and creating progress through others.
- Solid experience within Health & Safety, Compliance or a related project-driven role
- Experience managing projects across countries, business units or functions from idea to implementation
- Solid experience with systems, process implementation and digital tools, preferably within Health & Safety, reporting or compliance, combined with strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with certification-related processes and continuous improvement activities, including relevant ISO standards such as 9001, 14001 and 45001; lead auditor training is an advantage
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence across cultures and organisational levels
- Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to translate data, observations and feedback into clear insights and actions
- A resilient mindset and the ability to persevere through challenges while staying focused on long-term priorities
- A structured and self-driven way of working, with the confidence to own processes and move initiatives forward
- Professional proficiency in English
- Experience with M&A, integration or transformation contexts would be an advantage
- Willingness to travel occasionally across our markets as needed
Why Join Us
This is a role for someone who wants to make a visible difference. You will work close to the business, influence Group-wide priorities and help create safer, more consistent ways of working across STARK Group.
You will join a collaborative, international environment where Health & Safety is high on the agenda, and where your ability to connect people, drive projects and build practical solutions will be valued from day one.
We offer real ownership, strong exposure and room to develop both professionally and personally. You will work closely with experienced colleagues and have the flexibility to shape your tasks while contributing to meaningful change across the Group.
