Job Summary

M-F Between the hours of 7:30am -5:30pm
Salary Range: $38.71 - $67.87. Pay is based on experience.

Summary

Responsible for interpreting the plan of medical care, assessing patients’ clinical needs and nursing care requirements, ensuring safe and competent nursing care, providing individualized patient care, and evaluating nursing care for groups of patients.

Essential Functions
Maintain accurate and detailed patient reports and records.
Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions, side effects, and therapeutic responses.
Record patients’ medical information and vital signs accurately and timely.
Monitor, document, and report symptoms, changes in condition, and other significant patient findings.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients’ responses, conditions, and clinical needs.

 

Education
Associate's Degree Nursing required or Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred

Licenses and Credentials
Registered Nurse [RN - State License] - Generic - HR Only required Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers required Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support [ACLS (AHA)] - American Heart Association (AHA) preferred Neonatal Resuscitation Certification [NRP] - American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification [PALS] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred

Experience
Clinical nursing experience 3-5yrs year required. Procedural experience is preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Familiarity with the principles and skills needed for practical nursing to provide patient care and treatment.
- Knowledgeable of the care required by respective age groups for which care is being provided.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills.
- Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients.
