What you’ll be doing; 

• Manage the central finance function for Material Sales, processing invoices for approximately 600,000 tonnes of recyclables and products annually across 35+ Veolia sites
• Generate accurate invoices and ensure all month-end procedures are completed on time, maintaining compliance with UK law and Veolia's Management System
• Resolve invoice disputes efficiently for both internal and external customers, working closely with our Credit Control department, accountants, and financial controllers
• Raise credit notes for ad-hoc customer charges and claims, ensuring all Material Sales movements are invoiced promptly
• Provide management information when required and maintain up-to-date KPI performance data to support business decision-making
• Attend customer review meetings and deliver excellent communication to maintain strong relationships with 50+ internal stakeholders and external customers
• Support the wider Materials & Commodities Sales and Logistics team in a fast-paced environment managing £97.8M in revenue

What we're looking for;

• Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Finance or Mathematics with strong numerical and analytical abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships across multiple internal teams and external customers
• Outstanding organisational and time-management capabilities to handle high-volume invoicing processes accurately
• Dynamic and motivated individual who thrives in fast-paced environments and can work both independently and collaboratively
• Strong sense of discipline and professionalism with meticulous attention to detail
• Experience with purchase and sales ledger processes (desirable)
• Ability to problem-solve efficiently, resolve disputes professionally, and maintain service excellence under pressure
