Location: Onalaska
FTE: Full-Time, 40 hours/week
Shift: 8-hour shifts, days & PMs; weekend and holiday rotation
Pay: $131,768-$197,641/year (wage based on years of experience)
Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Lead Pharmacist to join our pharmacy leadership team in Onalaska. This role is serves as the Pharmacist in Charge, ensuring compliance with Wisconsin State Board of Pharmacy requirements and accreditation standards.

What you’ll do:
Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge
Collaborate with leadership to ensure accreditation standards are met
Develop and review training for pharmacy staff related to your area
Maintain clear communication with pharmacists and other stakeholders to ensure quality service
Function as the senior clinical staff person for GHS specialty services
Maintain oversight of clinical decision-making aspects of the specialty program
Work with administrative directors to maintain program integrity and ensure qualified clinicians are accountable to the organization
Maintain current unrestricted pharmacy licensure in accordance with accreditation standards
Lead transitions of care initiatives and develop projects with internal and external stakeholders to improve patient continuity across the Gundersen Health System
Support operations, regulatory, compounding, specialty, and transitions of care functions as assigned

What you'll need:
PharmD or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
Wisconsin Pharmacist license
Familiarity with Wisconsin pharmacy law
Experience in pharmacy operations, specialty pharmacy, regulatory compliance, or transitions of care preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
Ability to develop training, support staff development, and maintain program standards
