Overview
As a Paid Search Manager, you will be working with your team to manage the performance of paid search campaigns for clients. You will be a specialist in executing AI-powered search practices and implementing this on your assembly of clients. With your robust platform knowledge, you’ll navigate client and partner relationships, ensuring that your team delivers impeccable operations, innovation, media plans, performance optimisation and insightful reporting & analysis.
You’ll be the guiding force for a team of Senior/Account Executives, overseeing their work and nurturing their careers in paid search. You are a vital point of contact for your team and clients.
You will work with your team to manage the account and deliver performance meeting and exceeding client business objectives, in line with the strategy that you will help build with the team lead.
Responsibilities
Client Management
- Ensure you are adhering to agreed service level agreements, and you are managing your tasks through our workflow systems to deliver on time.
- Turning briefs into paid search excellence. You will effectively contribute and collate brief responses for client sign-off.
- You’re ready to support the fostering of partnership with clients and media owners alike.
- You will own segments of presentations and meetings with clients.
- You will develop client and product knowledge by proactively contributing to the search strategy using data and actionable insight.
- You will never over-promise and under-deliver. You take full ownership for your output, and those you are overseeing (Senior/Executives).
- You will work in partnership with client stakeholders, media owners, and tech partners to achieve performance gains.
- You will bring energy, insight and a can-do attitude to your client responsibilities.
Team Leadership and Processes
- You are a motivational manager, leading by example. You will support your team in executing and optimising paid search campaigns to the highest standards as per the Assembly formula for paid search success.
- You will quality control the work produced by your direct team and provide constructive feedback as appropriate for their development.
- You will fully utilise the available technology (whether proprietary or third party) to deliver performance for clients.
- Carry out daily diagnostics to ensure zero errors, manage risks and maintain consistent process adherence.
- You will fix things before they become a problem.
- Responsible for managing client’s budget on platforms such as Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
- You will be a source of constructive feedback for the junior team member’s development.
- You’ll embrace our inclusive and agile ways of working which ensure that team members are connected even if they’re working in different locations.
- You are committed to all agency processes being adhered to, from finance workflows to timesheet completion.
Agency Collaboration
- Active member of the wider search community through internal team meetings, training & events.
- Find the insight that can help us fuel growth for clients. This will require data analysis and actionable insight identification and implementation.
- Collaborate with other teams in your assembly and department to deliver projects.
- Training of team members.
