Introduction to the team
Expedia B2B brings Expedia Group’s innovative technology, travel supply, and support services to partners across the world. These businesses include global financial institutions, corporate managed travel, offline travel agents, global travel suppliers (like major airlines) and many more.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic Commercial Finance team within B2B,. R reporting to the Senior Manager, Commercial Finance, you will serve as a key finance business partner to the AMER (North America & Latin America) Commercial team. You’ll work closely with the sales team to provide key insights and help unlock a range of commercial opportunities. The ideal candidate will be comfortable providing financial analysis on a range of opportunities & influencing decision-making across the business.
In this role, you will:
Be a key finance stakeholder in contract negotiation, review, and approval; actively influencing commercial discussions
Analyze and assess current business performance, and identify levers to drive growth and profitability
Be a key finance business partner to the Sales Directors in preparing and executing strategies for the region
Perform ad hoc analyses to support regional commercial projects and initiatives, including deep dives into specific topics to support business growth
Finance lead in the preparation of the annual plan and quarterly forecasts, including risk and opportunity analysis
Ensure the delivery of regional financial management information and high-level commentary for executive distribution, including presenting results during regional quarterly business review (QBR) sessions
Support, develop, and implement improved processes and controls to enable sustainable, profitable scaling of the B2B business
Experience and qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or any related fields; 3+ years of related professional experience
Supported a sales organization and/or commercial finance experience
Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to go beyond traditional finance functions to drive insight and strategy across a broad range of business topics
Strong ability to analyze data, solve business problems, and deliver actionable insights
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to interpret and present data in a visually compelling format to both finance and non-finance audiences
Proven ability to cultivate highly collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Skilled at managing multiple deliverables simultaneously, prioritizing effectively, and meeting deadlines
Comfortable navigating an ambiguous business environment.
Exceptional listener and persuasive communicator
Self-starter who thrives in a large, global, fast-paced organization.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel & comfortability leveraging AI tools to drive workflow efficiency & automation in business processes
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
