Description
Method Development & Technical Support Facilitate method development, optimization, validation, and transfer for supplement actives and complex matrices, including powders, stick packs, and blends. Apply sample preparation and method suitability judgment for challenging matrices, including powders, blends, and finished product formats. Contribute methods for identity, potency, impurity profiling, macronutrients, moisture, and stability testing. Enable analytical readiness for new material and ingredient integration. Execute analytical testing strategies across RTD, powder, stick pack, hydration, and functional nutrition formats. Enable finished-good powder testing, including method suitability, potency, ingredient uniformity, shelf-life, and launch readiness. Facilitate external lab engagement, including method fit, protocol alignment, data review, troubleshooting, and OOS follow-up. Collaborate with Sensory, Product Development, Regulatory, Supplier Quality, Procurement, external labs, and technical service partners. Provide input on test requirements, timelines, feasibility, and launch-readiness decisions. Contribute to standardizing supplement analytical methods, testing frameworks, playbooks, and best practices. Enable scalable analytical capability for emerging supplement, functional nutrition, and powder platforms across internal and external lab networks. Familiarity with U.S. dietary supplement framework, including cGMP, identity testing, and adulteration risk Experience with vitamin systems, amino acids, botanicals, caffeine systems, protein ingredients, or finished powder products Awareness of sports nutrition risks, including adulteration, contaminants, banned substances, and supplier authenticity Ability to assess external lab capabilities and ensure data are scientifically sound and decision-ready Familiarity with powder characterization, including moisture, water activity, particle size, density, flowability, caking, and blend uniformity Ability to influence through data, communicate clearly, and contribute effectively within cross-functional teams Success requires technical depth, agility, and strong collaboration in a fast-moving business environment. Key Behaviors Curious learner: Seeks to understand new ingredients, formats, methods, and external capabilities. Agile and flexible: Adapts quickly as priorities, timelines, risks, and business needs evolve. Team-oriented collaborator: Builds trust across internal teams, external labs, and business partners. Challenger mindset: Questions assumptions, pressure-tests data, and raises risks early. Practical problem solver: Balances scientific rigor with speed, clarity, and business impact.
