Your Role:
In your role as the Draw & Asset Management Specialist you will support the servicing and draw management side of our loan portfolio. This role is responsible for managing construction draws, monitoring past due and maturing loans, coordinating borrower and servicer communication, and ensuring insurance and compliance requirements stay current across the portfolio. This is a high-touch, detail-driven role that works closely with borrowers, internal teams, and third-party servicers to keep loans performing and on track.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process and review construction draw requests, ensuring documentation, inspections, and disbursement approvals follow company policy
- Monitor the loan portfolio for past due payments and proactively follow up with borrowers to resolve delinquencies
- Track upcoming loan maturities and manage borrower outreach for extensions, payoffs, or refinance coordination
- Serve as a primary point of contact for borrower communication related to draws, servicing, extensions, insurance, and general loan status questions
- Follow up on insurance certificates and tax documentation, ensuring coverage remains current and compliant with loan requirements
- Coordinate with third-party servicers on payment processing, request and manage payoff requests, and reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date loan records in internal systems
- Identify and escalate at-risk loans or borrower issues to the appropriate internal team
- Support ad hoc asset management projects and reporting as needed
- Tackle a range of operational tasks as needed to support the lending and servicing teams
- Identify process improvements to enhance speed, accuracy, and customer experience
- 1–3+ years of experience in loan servicing, asset management, mortgage operations, or a related field (real estate/lending experience strongly preferred)
- Familiarity with construction draw processes, loan servicing workflows, or borrower-facing collections is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage borrower conversations professionally under time pressure
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple loans/deadlines simultaneously
- Comfortable working in Excel and CRM/loan servicing platforms (HubSpot experience a plus)
- Self-starter who can work independently and identify issues before they escalate
