Description
1. Confirm detail project scope & objectives with Client and project management team for civil/structural scope (return on investment, production level increase, standards to be achieved).
2. Arrange preliminary design & prepare Budget Estimate (BE) for proposal development & schedule for civil related aspects to enable project objectives including HSW considerations & requirements to be achieved (proposal and project execution stage).
3. Prepare Civil/Structural/Geotechnical Cost Estimate as part of deliverables submitted to Client.
4. Finalize civil/structural/geotechnical design (FEL-1, FEL-2, FEL-3 and DED stage) to meet Client's deliverables and project objectives.
5. Manage project execution including construction assistance, commissioning & start up. Ensure all work is completed within scope, cost, schedule & safely in accordance with accepted standards & procedures.
6. Forecast, report & control project cost, schedule, scope & safety to meet project objectives for civil/structure scope.
7. Collate hand over documentation & close out the project, to ensure accurate records are available for Client's need and to meet SMEC/SJ close out procedures.
8. Assigned as project manager if required.
9. Mentor junior engineer level as part of SJ/SMEC mentoring and coaching program
10. Report directly to Regional Leads in day-to-day basis and in coordination with HQ and onsite technical and project management team.
