Description
Mechanics Bank is currently searching for an Operations Specialist to join our team. Here at Mechanics Bank, we value connection, partnership, long term relationships and working together in person. This role will be working on-site.
Performs routine transactions in compliance with regulatory and bank policies and procedures, and in adherence to bank security policies and confidentiality of bank records and customer information. Performs a wide variety of operational tasks for standard processes or functions. Takes accountability for entire process from receipt of work to resolution and closure. Tasks require coordination of information among various operational or other areas and customers. Utilizes multiple system applications. May work in multiple areas or departments.
What you will do:
Receiving and reviewing incoming work, contacting appropriate resources as needed, entering transactions, verifying accuracy, preparing, editing, distributing, and/or correcting specialized and/or complex documents.
Responsible for the accurate completion of work product and assigned data entry to various bank systems and in accordance with established measures/deadline and assigned goals.
Organizes and completes work accurately. Identifies and resolves issues within assigned scope.
Provides excellent customer service to internal and external clients.
Attends and participates in meetings as required. Performs all other job duties as assigned by manager.
Who you are:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 1 year experience in operations at a financial institution.
Fundamental knowledge of job skills, company policies and procedures, and bank regulations to complete a wide range of financial transactions.
Comprehensive knowledge of bank operations and banking regulations in related functional area. Working knowledge of personal computers, including word processing and spreadsheet software programs required.
Advanced knowledge in bank operations and regulations. Must be fully cross trained in all operation processes. Advanced knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software programs required.

Pay Range: $24.00-28.00 hourly
AIP/Bonus: up to 5%
