Description
A highly respected nonprofit health system in Savannah is seeking an experienced Director of Physician Practices and Operations.
This Director will oversee multiple specialty physician practices with 7 physicians, 10 APPs and four direct-report leaders. Experienced Practice Administrators are already in place, allowing the Director to focus on higher-level leadership, physician relationships, operational performance and strategic growth.
Key priorities include:
- Managing physician relationships
- Improving patient access and experience
- Practice productivity and efficiency
- Staffing and recruitment
- Financial and operational performance
- Leadership development
- Strategic growth initiatives
Candidates should have progressive experience in physician-practice, medical group, ambulatory or specialty-practice operations and a track record of successfully leading managers and partnering with physicians.
Master's degree required. Oncology experience preferred. RN not required.
Compensation: $143K–$163K base + comprehensive benefits. Relocation assistance and temporary housing are available if needed.
