Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Observation in Lewisville, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and help to deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment. You will interact with employees, visitors, and delivery personnel, using strong communication and customer service skills. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific policies to help deter unauthorized entry.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity through required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervisors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
