Position Summary:
This job is responsible for building and leading a team to deliver technology products and services that meet business outcomes. Key responsibilities include developing a technology strategy, ensuring technology solutions comply with applicable standards, promoting design, engineering, and organizational practices, and advocating and advancing modern, Agile solution delivery practices. Job expectations may include coaching, mentoring, providing feedback and hands on career development, identifying emerging talent, fostering leadership skills, and managing stakeholders.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead within Business Finance Technology, a critical organization that enables enterprise financial management, reporting, planning, and technology delivery for priority business and enterprise objectives. The role offers the opportunity to partner with senior business, product, risk, architecture, and technology leaders to translate strategic priorities into measurable outcomes while leading teams that deliver secure, resilient, and scalable solutions. Candidates will be attracted to the breadth of impact, the ability to drive meaningful simplification and automation, mature delivery practices, and improve how technology enables the business at enterprise scale.
Responsibilities:
- Builds and manages teams by performing financial activities to inform workforce strategy and hiring practices, setting and tracking maturity and quality objectives, and training employees/teams to address feedback and achieve quality and performance objectives
- Facilitates performance and career development of employees/teams through performance reviews, coaching, and creating development plans that are needed to build competencies and skills
- Manages solution delivery and application performance in production (app health, resiliency, performance, security, enterprise data management standards, audit exams and reviews), ensuring all relevant risk, financial, and compliance policies are met
- Manages relationships with business and technology partners and leads and creates followership in Communities of Practice in the organization
- Contributes to the technology strategy for their technical domain
- Creates an inclusive and healthy working environment and helps to resolve organizational impediments/blockers
- Ensures that execution is aligned with product strategy by working with product management and other stakeholders
- Accountable for leading solution delivery across multiple applications, value streams, and line-of-business partners within Business Finance Technology.
- Owns portfolio-level planning, prioritization, and execution to ensure delivery aligns to business objectives, product strategy, and enterprise technology priorities, including modernization and responsible adoption of Generative AI capabilities.
- Partners closely with business, product, architecture, risk, and technology stakeholders to translate strategic needs into actionable roadmaps, maintain a healthy prioritized backlog, and track progress against commitments, dependencies, financial plans, and delivery outcomes.
- Drives process simplification, Agile discipline, automation, and DevOps practices to improve speed, quality, resiliency, and transparency across the portfolio.
- Monitors application health, operational readiness, security, data management, risk, audit, and compliance obligations, proactively identifying issues and implementing controls or remediation plans to reduce business and technology risk.
- Provides leadership, coaching, and direction to teams, creates an inclusive and accountable working environment, and uses stakeholder feedback and performance insights to continuously improve technology capabilities and business outcomes.

Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of technology leadership, application development, solution delivery, or related experience, including demonstrated success leading complex initiatives across multiple applications, value streams, and business partners.
- Strong experience driving technology adoption, modernization, and delivery execution, with the ability to translate business priorities into actionable roadmaps, measurable outcomes, and well-managed delivery plans.
- Proven ability to identify, assess, escalate, and mitigate technology, operational, compliance, audit, security, data management, and delivery risks while maintaining strong control discipline and operational readiness.
- Experience partnering with senior business, product, architecture, risk, and technology stakeholders, with strong communication, influencing, and decision-making skills in a matrixed enterprise environment.
- Development or engineering background with working knowledge of Agile delivery, automation, DevOps practices, application resiliency, production support, and scalable solution design.
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to use data, metrics, financial insights, and stakeholder feedback to assess performance, prioritize work, and continuously improve delivery outcomes.
