About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career finance professional with a strong academic background and a passion for translating financial insights into business decisions. We are looking for Finance Talents that will work closely with business leaders, finance colleagues, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive performance, support decision-making, and contribute to continuous improvement across the organization.
What you will do:
As a Business Controller, you will play a key role in supporting business performance through financial planning, analysis, reporting, and business partnering activities. Activities will include:
- Partnering with business stakeholders to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
- Analysing financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities, and providing actionable recommendations.
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning activities.
- Developing and maintaining financial models and management reports.
- Ensuring a strong understanding and control of P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and key business drivers.
- Challenging assumptions and influencing stakeholders through fact-based analyses and financial insights.
- Contributing to financial process improvements, standardization initiatives, and automation opportunities.
- Collaborating across functions and geographies within a complex multinational and matrix environment.
- Supporting ad hoc business cases, investment analyses, and strategic projects.
Who you are:
You are intellectually curious, business-minded, and passionate about finance. You enjoy understanding how businesses create value and are motivated by opportunities to influence outcomes through analytical thinking and strong stakeholder management.
You have the ability to navigate complexity, work and communicate effectively across multiple stakeholders, and quickly understand new business models and operating environments.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-5 years of experience in Controlling, FP&A, Finance Business Partnering, Audit, Consulting, or a similar finance role.
- Solid understanding of:
- Financial statements and balance sheet management
- P&L composition and profitability drivers
- Financial planning and analysis (FP&A)
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Financial closing processes and reporting
- Experience working in a multinational and matrix organization is strongly preferred.
- Ability to quickly grasp business models, operational drivers, and financial implications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with ERP, BI, and reporting tools is an advantage.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
