Business Controller

Key tasks

• - Preparing budgets and strategic plans for specific business areas- Presenting financial results and data at the group and organizational levels- Participating in strategic projects for the organization and supporting the Executive Board and other senior managers in achieving financial objectives- Monitoring events affecting financial performance and proposing corrective actions- Planning, implementing, and improving effective internal and external communication strategies to achieve functional objectives- Preparing profitability analyses for products, customers, distribution channels, etc.- Managing working capital and cash flow- Supporting period-end closings and reporting within established task divisions- Managing fixed assets- Implementing financial development projects that support strategic management- Participating in data consolidation and integration as well as periodic reporting- Planning and reporting EBIT forecasts- Close cooperation with the accounting department and auditors, and providing substantive support in the broad area of financial and controlling issuesPreparation of analyses, reports, and management recommendations- Verifying the accuracy of data submitted to the Management Board and outside the organization- Proposing changes to reports to present a complete picture of the organization’s status- Harmonizing approaches to project approval and budgeting- Developing processes and reporting •    Preferred fields of study: management accounting, finance, and accounting,•    ACCA/CIMA certification•    4–6 years of experience in business and/or financial controlling
