This role is eligible for commuter benefits: Employees who commute over 20 miles one way may receive a monthly stipend:
$200 per month for full‑time staff
$100 per month for part‑time staff
What you bring to SBHG:
Education and Experience:
Master's degree in social work, marriage & family therapy, or psychology from an accredited college or university required.
One (1) year direct service experience in a mental health setting required (student internship and/or practicum time may be substituted).
Experience in an inpatient therapy setting preferred.
Mental Health Specialist II: Licensed as AMFT, ACSW, or APCC required.
Mental Health Specialist III: Licensed as LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC required.
How you will make a difference:
Conducts psychosocial assessments and maintains client documentation, including intake, progress, and discharge notes. Assesses clients' readiness for admission and discharge, coordinates care with treatment teams and case managers, provides individual and group therapy, facilitates therapeutic groups, and connects clients with appropriate community and aftercare resources.
Division/Program Overview:
- Population Served (Capacity): Serving adults, ages 18-59
- Facility & Setting: 24/7 inpatient voluntary program, 16-bed facility
- Clinical Services (Core): Rehabilitation/recovery services, including substance use rehabilitation services
- Length of Stay: 30 day stay
- Skills & Services: Pre-vocational or vocational counseling and medication evaluation and support services.
