Mercer’s Investment Solutions is seeking a Business Development Analyst to join our Global Investment Solutions team in London.
This is a hybrid role, with a requirement to work in the office three days per week.
The role: Business Development Analyst
Within your role, you’ll support new-business opportunities across institutional investor segments (pensions, not-for-profit, insurance, family office, wealth management), partnering closely with senior stakeholders in a high-performing, collaborative team.
We will rely on you to:
- Support sales leaders on large new-business opportunities by owning key deliverables such as proposals, RFP responses, and pitch/presentation materials.
- Build strong knowledge of Mercer’s investment research and solutions to help articulate our value proposition to prospective clients.
- Manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously with strong attention to detail and organisation.
- Contribute to broader business development initiatives (tools rollouts, product launches, marketing activity, go-to-market strategy, and market/competitor research).
- Collaborate with colleagues across Mercer globally (investment, operations, client, sales, and consulting teams) and support continuous team improvement.
What you need to have:
- For this role we’re happy to consider a recent graduate OR those with 1-2 years of professional working experience.
- High energy, proactivity, and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to juggle multiple workstreams and deliver high-quality output under tight timelines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a proven team-first mindset.
- Strong IT skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and willingness to adopt new tools.

- Understanding of the institutional investment landscape and structures (including private markets).
