Overview

The Senior Accountant is a key member of the Accounting & Finance team, responsible for supporting the integrity of the Company financial records and ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting. Reporting directly to the Controller, this role will provide support for month-end closing, account reconciliations, financial analysis, and compliance with GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post monthly journal entries to the general ledger
• Lead account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts and resolve variances
• Own monthly accruals
• Support Intercompany Account reconciliations (record transactions, reconcile balances, resolve differences)
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for internal and external reporting
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and files
• Support in the preparation of audit schedules and documentation
• Support the fixed assets function including recording additions, disposals, and depreciation
• Prepare bank reconciliations and assist in cash management activities
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• GAAP and accounting principles knowledge
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, etc.)
• Advanced knowledge of ERP systems (Deltek, NetSuite, Quickbooks, SAP)
• Prior work with multi-entity

Preferred

• CPA is a plus

Wage Data Per State Requirements

Salary range for this position is $90,000 - $125,000.  The starting salary will be commensurate with skill, education, experience, and working environment.
