Description
If you are highly organised, confident managing competing priorities and someone who naturally looks for ways to improve processes, this is a role where those strengths will be valued.
You will join a supportive and experienced Electronic Security team, with ongoing training as you learn the technical side of the industry, while having the autonomy to take ownership of your role. Your ideas will be welcomed, giving you the opportunity to contribute to process improvements and have a genuine influence on how the role develops.
The Opportunity
Working closely with the Security Supervisor, you will coordinate and schedule Electronic Security Technicians across customer sites throughout Perth, surrounding areas and regional WA for servicing, maintenance, testing and fault finding.
Priorities can change quickly. You might be rearranging schedules to accommodate an urgent customer request, organising parts or equipment, raising work orders or making sure technicians and customers have the information they need.
You will be the link between technicians, customers and the wider service team, keeping communication flowing and ensuring job information is accurately recorded and kept up to date.
Previous Electronic Security experience would be welcomed but is not essential. If you have strong technical aptitude, pick up new systems and terminology quickly and are genuinely interested in learning the industry, you could be well suited to this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule Electronic Security Technicians across customer sites throughout Perth, surrounding areas and regional WA.
- Coordinate workloads and scheduled works, adjusting priorities when required.
- Liaise with customers regarding technician attendance and work requirements.
- Communicate with technicians regarding schedules, jobs and changes.
- Raise and maintain work orders and quoted works.
- Accurately record and update job and customer information.
- Raise purchase orders and organise spare parts and hire equipment when required.
- Coordinate technician travel, considering location, workload and scheduling requirements.
- Respond to customer enquiries and provide administration support to the service team.
About You
You may already coordinate field technicians within a technical service environment or have strong scheduling and administration experience and the aptitude and interest to learn a new industry.
Ideally, you will bring:
- Experience scheduling or coordinating field technicians within a service environment.
- Strong organisation and administration skills with excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt when schedules change.
- Technical aptitude and the ability to quickly understand technical information.
- Confidence communicating with customers, technicians and internal stakeholders.
- Strong written communication and accurate data entry skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Outlook, with MS Word and MS Excel skills to an intermediate level or above.
- Exposure to Pronto, Salesforce or another ERP/CRM system would be advantageous.
