PRAMAC is looking for a Controller – Accounting, Project Business & Data Center to join its Finance organization and support the continued growth of its international project business, with a particular focus on large-scale Data Center projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the financial and accounting control of complex, multi-year projects delivered across different PRAMAC entities worldwide. The role will ensure the correct recognition of revenues, costs and margins throughout the entire project lifecycle, providing accurate financial visibility and supporting both local teams and Group management.
This position is particularly suited to candidates with a solid accounting background who want to develop their career in project controlling within a fast-growing, international and highly strategic business area.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage the accounting and financial control of complex projects, primarily within the Data Center business.
- Monitor project revenues, costs, margins, cash flow and financial performance throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Ensure the correct recognition of revenues and costs in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
- Apply and monitor project accounting methodologies, including:
- percentage-of-completion accounting;
- cost-to-cost methods;
- work-in-progress accounting;
- milestone-based revenue recognition;
- contract asset and contract liability management.
- Review project budgets, forecasts and estimates at completion, identifying financial risks and opportunities.
- Analyse actual project performance against budget, forecast and contractual milestones.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering and local Finance teams.
- Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities related to project accounting.
- Prepare project financial reports, management analyses and business performance reviews.
- Monitor project variations, claims, penalties, contingencies and other contractual financial elements.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of project accounting and controlling processes.
- Support internal and external audit activities related to project accounting.
- Contribute to the development of common project controlling standards across the international organization.
Requirements & Experience
- Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- At least 2–3 years of relevant professional experience in accounting, controlling, audit or project finance.
- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience gained in one or more of the following environments will be considered a strong advantage:
- construction and engineering companies;
- EPC or project-based businesses;
- infrastructure companies;
- industrial companies managing long-term contracts;
- professional accounting or audit firms serving construction, engineering or project-based clients.
- Previous experience in external audit or financial review activities is considered a plus.
- Ability to interpret complex contracts and translate contractual terms into accounting and financial implications.
- Good understanding of project profitability, cost allocation and margin analysis.
- Fluent English is an essential requirement, both written and spoken. Additional languages will be considered an advantage
- The role requires frequent interaction with colleagues, project teams and Finance functions located across PRAMAC’s international subsidiaries.
Skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with ERP and business intelligence systems is desirable.
