Rockefeller Cancer Institute are seeking a full-time (100%) Research Coordinator to support and coordinate the day-to-day operations of multiple funded research projects. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with expertise in molecular epidemiology, computational biology, bioinformatics, and project coordination to contribute to multidisciplinary translational cancer research.

The successful candidate will participate in funded studies investigating molecular biomarkers, including small noncoding RNAs, transcriptomic and multi-omics signatures, and their roles in cancer risk, early detection, prognosis, and treatment. The position involves coordinating research activities, managing large epidemiologic and molecular datasets, conducting statistical and bioinformatics analyses, and assisting with the development of reproducible computational workflows. Experience with genomic and transcriptomic data analysis, REDCap database management, and statistical programming is highly desirable.

The successful candidate will also assist with data analysis, manuscript preparation, grant applications, progress reports, scientific presentations, and training of graduate and undergraduate students. The position requires excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while working effectively within a multidisciplinary research team.

This position provides an outstanding opportunity for a recent PhD graduate to develop an independent research career while supporting innovative studies in molecular cancer epidemiology. The Research Coordinator will work under the direct supervision of the Principal Investigator and is expected to exercise initiative, contribute intellectually to study development and data interpretation, and play a central role in advancing the scientific goals of the laboratory. The successful candidate will have opportunities to co-author peer-reviewed publications, present research findings at national scientific meetings, and contribute to the preparation of competitive grant applications.
