Job Overview:
We are seeking a Media Planner who combines strong strategic media planning capabilities with hands-on digital campaign management experience.
This role will be responsible for developing integrated media strategies, translating business and audience insights into actionable media plans, and directly supporting the setup, launch, optimization, and reporting of campaigns across key digital platforms.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable building a media plan and working directly within advertising platforms. Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads is required, while experience with Amazon Advertising / Amazon DSP is a strong plus.
The Media Planner will work across multiple client accounts and collaborate closely with strategy, account management, creative, and media operations teams to ensure campaigns are strategically sound, executed accurately, and continuously optimized against business objectives.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in an agency, tech startup, marketing, integrated marketing communications, or media sales role.
- Graduate of a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Associate’s degree program focused on Business, Communication, Marketing, and Market Research fields.
- Advance English Level
- Proven experience as a Media Planner or Digital Campaign Management; experience in digital media is preferred
- Broad knowledge of media channels
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work within large sets of data and numbers
- Familiarity with campaign evaluation metrics and media buying
- Demonstrates accountability and strong organizational skills
- Strong presentation, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple projects with a broad range of internal and external constituents simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically about complex issues and develop recommendations and action plans.
Responsibilities:
Media Strategy & Planning
- Develop strategic, data-driven media plans based on client objectives, target audiences, budgets, market insights, and campaign KPIs.
- Recommend the appropriate channel mix, budget allocation, audience strategy, campaign structure, and flighting approach across paid media channels.
- Conduct audience, competitor, category, and media landscape research to identify opportunities and inform planning recommendations.
- Translate consumer behavior, audience trends, and platform insights into actionable media strategies.
- Develop media briefs, planning frameworks, presentations, reports, and other client-facing deliverables.
- Support integrated media planning across digital channels while maintaining an understanding of the broader media ecosystem.
Campaign Activation & Optimization
- Hands-on setup, launch, management, and optimization of campaigns across Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads.
- Manage campaign components including targeting, bidding, budgets, placements, creative rotations, conversion objectives, and campaign structure.
- Monitor campaign performance and proactively optimize based on KPIs including reach, engagement, traffic, conversions, CPA/CAC, ROAS, and other business objectives.
- Analyze campaign and platform data to identify performance trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Conduct ongoing testing across audiences, creative, placements, bidding strategies, and campaign structures.
- Perform campaign QA to ensure accurate setup, tracking, budgets, targeting, and creative implementation prior to launch.
- Experience managing Amazon Advertising, Amazon DSP, or other retail media platforms is a strong plus.
Reporting & Insights
- Monitor campaign pacing and performance across assigned accounts.
- Develop regular performance reports that go beyond reporting metrics to provide clear insights, learnings, and actionable recommendations.
- Identify trends across campaign, audience, and creative performance and translate findings into optimization opportunities.
- Partner with internal teams to continuously improve campaign efficiency and overall media effectiveness.
Client & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with account management, creative, strategy, and media operations teams to ensure campaigns are delivered accurately, on time, and within budget.
- Develop strong client-facing communication and presentation skills and participate in client meetings, campaign reviews, and strategic discussions.
- Clearly communicate campaign performance, insights, recommendations, and next steps to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage multiple campaigns and client priorities simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and accountability.
