Job Title: Continuous Improvement & Change Control Lead
Salary: £41,500 to £49,500 (depending on experience)
Location: Shrewsbury

Caterpillar Shrewsbury is looking for a Continuous Improvement & Change Control Lead to champion continuous improvement across our operation, build problem-solving capability and lead initiatives that improve safety, quality, delivery and cost performance.
Reporting to the Quality, Process & Safety Excellence Manager, this is a highly visible leadership role responsible for shaping the site's Continuous Improvement strategy and delivering sustainable business improvements across manufacturing and support functions.
A key element of the role is leading a team of Continuous Improvement Change Agents, providing direction, coaching and prioritisation to ensure improvement opportunities are effectively executed and embedded across the organisation.
Working closely with operational leaders and support functions, you will identify opportunities to eliminate waste, improve flow, increase productivity and develop a culture where continuous improvement becomes part of everyday work.
We're looking for someone who combines strong Lean Manufacturing knowledge with excellent leadership and influencing skills, and who is passionate about developing people, challenging the status quo and delivering measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities
Leading the site's Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence programme.
Managing and developing a team of Continuous Improvement Change Agents.
Facilitating Lean and business improvement initiatives across the organisation.
Coaching leaders and teams in Lean thinking and structured problem solving.
Driving improvements in safety, quality, delivery, cost and employee engagement.
Building a culture of ownership, accountability and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
Experience leading Continuous Improvement or Operational Excellence initiatives.
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies.
Excellent leadership, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
A proven track record of delivering measurable business improvements.
A passion for developing people and creating sustainable change.
