About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Project Specialist to support the delivery of strategic improvement initiatives across our Parts & Services business.

Reporting to the Project Manager, this role will play a key part in coordinating projects, driving operational improvements and supporting the implementation of new processes, systems and ways of working. Working across multiple functions, you will help deliver initiatives that improve performance, standardisation, customer outcomes and overall business efficiency.

This is an exciting opportunity for an emerging project professional who enjoys working with stakeholders, solving problems and contributing to meaningful business improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, coordination and delivery of Service Excellence projects across the Parts & Services business.

  • Develop project plans, milestones and deliverables while monitoring progress, risks and dependencies.

  • Coordinate project activities across cross-functional teams to achieve successful outcomes and business objectives.

  • Support the implementation of new processes, systems and operational improvements.

  • Partner with operational teams to embed sustainable changes and support change management, communications and training activities.

  • Identify implementation risks and support mitigation planning.

  • Maintain project plans, dashboards and reporting tools.

  • Track milestones, risks, issues and benefits realisation, providing regular project updates and performance reports.

  • Support visibility of project outcomes and benefits aligned to business KPIs.

  • Contribute to business improvement, operational excellence and process optimisation initiatives across workshop operations, field service, shared services and business processes.

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, standardise processes and deliver measurable business improvements.

  • Coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders and project teams to support successful project delivery.

  • Develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures and project records.

About you

You are a proactive and organised professional who enjoys working across multiple teams to drive business improvements. You bring strong planning and stakeholder engagement skills and can balance attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture.

Essential

  • Degree in Business, Project Management or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.

  • Experience supporting cross-functional projects or business improvement initiatives.

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and project lifecycle management.

  • Strong planning, coordination and stakeholder management skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across Sales, Service and Operations teams to achieve shared business objectives.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

  • Ability to work independently while engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  • A commitment to continuous improvement and disciplined project execution.

Desirable

  • Experience using project planning and reporting tools.

  • Lean, Continuous Improvement or Project Management qualifications.

  • Experience supporting organisational change, transformation or operational improvement initiatives
