Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Front Desk in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor security-related activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Your professional presence will help deter incidents while supporting a positive experience for tenants and guests. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and employees at a commercial real estate location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Operate the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying identification and access authorization, maintaining visitor records, and directing guests to appropriate locations.
• Monitor access control systems, cameras, alarms, and communications equipment, and report unusual activity or equipment concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Maintain accurate logs, complete required reports, and support the orderly flow of visitors and deliveries at the front desk.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security professional license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
