As a Product Manager (Data Platforms), you will help deliver and operationalize platform capabilities by working with business, analytics, governance, and engineering teams to support product delivery, user adoption, platform governance, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement efforts. This hands-on individual contributor role focuses on executing platform initiatives, coordinating feature rollouts, supporting user adoption, applying data management practices, and driving delivery, governance, and stakeholder engagement activities.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Platform roadmap and planning: Contribute to the platform vision and own defined areas of the roadmap. Translate business priorities into measurable outcomes, facilitate structured intake and quarterly planning, and maintain alignment across product and delivery teams.

• Process design and feature rollout: Execute repeatable product and operational processes that improve delivery, stakeholder engagement, and adoption. Support the planning and rollout of platform features within assigned scope, including readiness, communications, training, user enablement, and post-launch feedback.

• Translate user needs into capabilities: Engage users and stakeholders to understand needs, pain points, and workflows. Convert requirements into platform features, user stories, and acceptance criteria that connect business intent to engineering execution.

• Cross-functional delivery: Partner with data engineering, architecture, analytics, data product, and governance teams to deliver scalable, secure, and well-governed platform capabilities. Coordinate dependencies, and stakeholder commitments through delivery.

• Platform Governance & Use-Case Alignment: Partner with stakeholders to assess platform fit, promote responsible data use, and ensure adoption aligns with governance standards, architectural guidance, and platform capabilities while supporting platform health and scalability.

• User adoption and advisory: Support business and analytics teams in adopting platform capabilities through onboarding, training, user guidance, and adoption insights that improve user experience and platform utilization.

• Community of Practice and User Engagement: Support the platform user community by managing forums, engaging with users, addressing questions, capturing feedback and best practices, and maintaining platform documentation, knowledge resources, and user enablement materials.

 

What you have

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in product management, data platforms, data products, product operations, or business analysis roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience coordinating feature launches or platform rollouts, including communications, training, readiness, and feedback or change management activities.
• Experience executing governance, data quality, lineage, and integrity practices.
• Experience gathering user needs and translating them into prioritized requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience monitoring, and communicating platform metrics and KPIs, including adoption, usage, reliability, operational performance, and user satisfaction.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience working in Agile environments using JIRA and Confluence for backlog management, prioritization, planning, and delivery tracking.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in product management, data platforms, data products, product operations, or business analysis roles.
• Experience in the Financial Services industry, including brokerage or banking.
• Experience supporting enterprise data management practices, data quality controls, or governance processes.
• Experience supporting platform transformations or feature rollouts across multiple teams or stakeholder groups.
• Experience contributing to communities of practice, centers of excellence, or knowledge-sharing forums.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as Google BigQuery.
• Track record of developing clear presentations, product documentation, training materials, and stakeholder communications.

 

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
