CSCS TXLead People. Upskill Talent. Shape the Future of Learning.
Caliber is looking for a Senior Manager, Training & Development, to support our Caliber Auto Glass business portfolio. This function is part of Caliber’s Growth businesses that continue to see year-over-year growth, expansion, investment, and increasing impact to the organization’s bottom line. The role will report to the Sr. Director, Learning & Development (Growth Businesses).
In this role, the Sr. Manager will lead the people, learning strategy, and core development programs for this function. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced Learning & Development, Technical Training, or Workforce Development professional who enjoys developing people, building scalable programs, and connecting learning to business results. You’ll lead a team of training professionals and oversee programs spanning technical training, onboarding, front-line leadership development, apprenticeships, field training, and career development, while partnering with operational leaders to ensure our teams have the skills they need to succeed.
Why Join Us? This role sits at the intersection of people, technology, operations, and learning. You’ll help shape how talent is developed across our Auto Glass portfolio while leading a high-performing training organization. Your background should include leading a learning and development team. Specific experience working in multi-site operating models/companies, where the learner is dispersed geographically and/or mobile, is preferred. Auto glass experience is a nice-to-have - not a requirement. We’re looking for a leader who knows how to develop people, build effective training programs, solve problems, and turn strategy into action.
What You'll Do
- Lead & Develop: Coach, develop, and inspire a team of training professionals.
- Build Training Programs: Lead technical, operational, onboarding, front-line leadership, apprenticeship, and career-development programs.
- Partner With Operations: Work with field and business leaders to identify performance gaps and create practical learning solutions.
- Shape Strategy: Translate business priorities into scalable learning strategies and measurable action plans.
- Develop Talent: Create programs and career pathways that build skills and support long-term growth.
- Drive Results: Use data and learner feedback to measure effectiveness and continuously improve programs.
- Embrace Technology: Evolve digital, virtual, and hands-on learning solutions to meet changing business needs.
- Make an Impact: Support training initiatives across a geographically dispersed organization.
What You'll Bring
- 7+ years of experience in Learning & Development, technical training workforce development, or a related field.
- 3+ years of people leadership, program leadership, or team management experience.
- Experience leading training programs across multiple locations, teams, or field environments.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning and training methodologies.
- Experience coaching and developing trainers, facilitators, or learning professionals.
- Strong communication, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder mgmt. skills.
- Ability to connect training initiatives to measurable business outcomes.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Experience with LMS platforms, digital learning, or virtual training is a plus.
Nice to Have
- Automotive, fleet, manufacturing, technical service, or skilled-trades experience.
- Auto glass or ADAS experience.
- Apprenticeship, military transition, or workforce development experience.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet company MVR requirements.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to travel approximately 30–40% to support field training, team development, and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to work in office, training, shop, and field environments as needed.
If you’re passionate about developing people, building career pathways, and creating training that drives real-world results - we want to hear from you.
