Role summary:
The Manager, Billing Operations, leads the oversight and continuous improvement of billing and accounts receivable processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This role requires strong financial acumen to analyze data, manage risk, and support reporting in alignment with regulatory standards. The position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to optimize operational workflows and deliver timely financial statements. The manager also drives process enhancements and ensures adherence to company policies while maintaining a focus on operational excellence and effective communication across the organization.
About the team:
The Walmart Data Ventures Invoicing team manages the revenue lifecycle for Walmart’s leading data and analytics products. The team focuses on delivering precise, scalable, and client-centered billing solutions that support business growth and enhance customer experience. Combining expertise in finance, technology, analytics, and business enablement, the team addresses complex operational challenges, drives automation, and builds efficient processes. Collaborating across the organization, they contribute to the success of one of Walmart’s fastest-growing business areas by ensuring accuracy, continuous improvement, and effective stakeholder communication in billing operations.
What you'll do:

• Oversee billing operations ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely invoicing aligned with regulatory and accounting standards.
• Analyze financial data to support reporting, reconciliation, and month-end close activities.
• Manage stakeholder communications to address billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize billing processes and enhance operational effectiveness.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to maintain data integrity and support risk management protocols.
• Prepare ad hoc reports and financial statements reflecting updated accounting treatments and business transactions.

What you'll bring:

• Extensive knowledge of billing systems, accounts receivable, and invoicing processes within a corporate finance environment.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, regulatory frameworks, and accounting principles affecting billing operations.
• Proven ability to analyze financial data, perform reconciliations, and prepare accurate financial statements and reports.
• Experience managing stakeholder communications and resolving billing inquiries with professionalism and clarity.
• Skilled in continuous improvement processes to enhance operational efficiency and data integrity.
• Proficiency in ad hoc reporting and leveraging financial systems to support business objectives.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
