Engineering Technician

The Engineering Technician is responsible for providing technical support to the Engineering team during the manufacturing processes in the Mesa, Az production facility. Technicians will be mentored by Engineers, Production Supervisors and Cell Leads to become fully capable of supporting production.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Proven proficiencies in the operation and maintenance of all production equipment

· Provides technical support in troubleshooting, debugging, and repairing machines to ensure that equipment is running at full capacity

· Problem solves, recommends, and implements solutions for internal production issues and customer design issues

· Assist with engineering efforts to launch new products into production

· Participate in the development and/or revision of SOP's and work instructions

· Assists with process and documentation changes as required by internal and customer-driven engineering changes

· Work with Production Management and Quality Assurance to resolve production issues and provide feedback

· Uses troubleshooting skills to resolve process, product quality, safety, and identify equipment requiring maintenance

· Performs all duties with a high degree of dedication to safety and environmental stewardship

· Supports training and development of operations team members

· Any other task as assigned by Supervisor

 

 

Job Requirements

· Minimum 3 years related technical manufacturing experience or minimum 2 year Engineering degree

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Excellent organizational skills

· Excellent computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

· Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

· Must be team orientated and willing to break down barriers
