Description
Field Service Responsibilities
- Perform on-site installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment at customer locations throughout the APEC region.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues to minimize equipment downtime and improve reliability.
- Provide technical guidance and support to customers and internal teams.
- Conduct equipment inspections, testing, and performance verification.
- Deliver customer training on equipment operation, maintenance practices, and product features.
- Prepare accurate service reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation.
- Ensure all field service activities comply with company health, safety, quality, and operational procedures.
Workshop Management Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily workshop service, repair, overhaul, and maintenance activities in Thailand.
- Allocate jobs, manpower, tools, and resources between field service and workshop operations.
- Review and approve repair methodologies and technical solutions to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Ensure workshop equipment, tools, and test instruments are properly maintained, calibrated, and available for use.
- Monitor repair progress and communicate status, risks, and timelines to relevant internal stakeholders.
- Maintain proper documentation, traceability, and record-keeping for all repair and service activities.
- Act as the primary contact for external contractors and suppliers, ensuring effective coordination and execution of repair work.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company policies, engineering standards, and applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Promote and enforce safe working practices in both customer-site and workshop environments.
- Maintain accurate service records in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Support audits, inspections, and continuous improvement of safety and quality systems.
Coordination & Communication
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Projects, Supply Chain, Logistics, and other internal departments to ensure effective service delivery.
- Support customer communications regarding service activities, technical issues, and repair outcomes.
- Assist in service planning, scheduling, and prioritization to meet customer and business requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to support long-term business growth and customer satisfaction.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve service efficiency, equipment reliability, and customer experience.
- Support the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs), technical standards, and work instructions.
- Recommend equipment upgrades, modifications, and technical solutions based on customer needs.
- Stay up to date with product developments, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.
