We are constantly on a mission to add smart, innovative, and fun-loving team members, and are looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to come join our New York-based headquarters. Our HQ Office is located in Downtown Manhattan, and our teams are on-site 3 days per week.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Sr Art Director, the Sr Graphic Designer plays a key role in shaping Tommy John's visual brand experience across digital channels, with a primary focus on CRM/Email, E-commerce, and Paid Media.
This role is responsible for translating marketing briefs and brand storytelling into compelling, customer-focused creative that balances strong design with commercial objectives. Working primarily in Figma, the Sr Graphic Designer will lead the design and execution of digital experiences that are visually engaging, consistent with our brand, and optimized for the customer journey.
The ideal candidate is a highly skilled, detail-oriented designer with a refined aesthetic, strong typography and layout skills, and a deep understanding of digital-first design. They thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and can confidently take projects from concept through final execution.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• CRM & Email Design: Lead the design and execution of Tommy John's CRM/Email creative, translating marketing briefs into visually compelling, customer-focused layouts that bring brand storytelling, product, and promotional messaging together.
• Digital Brand Experience: Develop cohesive creative across Email, E-commerce, Paid Media, and other digital touchpoints, ensuring a consistent and elevated brand experience.
• Creative Concepting & Storytelling: Partner with the Senior Art Director, Copy, and Marketing teams to develop thoughtful creative concepts that balance brand expression with business and performance objectives.
• Photoshoot & Content Creation: Shadow Senior Art Director on photoshoots, supporting on-set creative direction, asset capture, and execution to ensure photography and video meet the storytelling and design needs of our digital channels.
• AI-Assisted Creative Development: Explore and leverage emerging AI tools to support creative concepting, image development, asset adaptation, and production efficiencies.
• Figma Design & Execution: Utilize Figma as the primary design platform to build, refine, and maintain digital layouts, reusable components, and organized design files that support an efficient creative workflow.
• Design Craft & Quality: Maintain a high standard of visual execution across typography, composition, imagery, color, and motion, ensuring creative is polished, on-brand, and optimized for digital platforms.
• Motion & Animation: Concept and execute motion-based creative, including animated email assets, GIFs, and lightweight digital animations that enhance storytelling and engagement.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, E-commerce, Creative Operations, and other business partners to ensure creative solutions meet channel needs, timelines, and campaign objectives.
• Creative Ownership: Manage projects from initial concept through final production, incorporating feedback, maintaining organized working files, and ensuring accurate, timely delivery.
• Continuous Improvement: Bring fresh ideas, design inspiration, and an understanding of digital best practices to help evolve Tommy John's creative expression and customer experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably within a consumer-focused, DTC, retail, or lifestyle brand.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma is required, including strong experience with components, Auto Layout, and collaborative digital design workflows.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Experience with After Effects and Premiere Pro is a plus.
• Exceptional typography, layout, composition, and visual storytelling skills, with a strong eye for detail and design consistency.
• Demonstrated experience designing CRM/Email campaigns and digital marketing creative, with an understanding of responsive layouts, mobile-first design, and channel-specific requirements.
• Ability to create compelling, modular email designs that translate seamlessly across desktop and mobile experiences.
• Ability to conceptualize and execute motion graphics, GIFs, and simple animations for digital applications.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating elevated digital design, creative thinking, brand storytelling, and execution across multiple customer touchpoints.
• Understanding how creativity supports customer engagement, conversion, and overall brand experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of creative quality and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the confidence to present creative thinking, incorporate feedback, and independently drive projects forward.
• A curious, proactive mindset with a passion for design, digital experiences, and evolving creative best practices.

Salary Range: $105,000 - $115,000
