Massage Therapist

In this role, you will provide therapeutic bodywork that helps clients relieve pain, reduce stress, and restore a sense of balance. About the Role

As a licensed massage therapist, you will deliver personalized treatments tailored to each client's needs and goals. You will listen carefully, assess areas of tension or discomfort, and adapt your techniques to support both relaxation and recovery. Working in a quiet, welcoming environment, you will help clients feel safe and cared for throughout their experience at TMT.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a range of massage modalities, including Sports, deep tissue, and therapeutic techniques, based on client preferences and health considerations.
• Conduct intake conversations to understand each client's history, concerns, and treatment objectives.
• Develop and recommend individualized treatment plans that promote long-term wellness.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with professional standards.
• Keep treatment rooms clean, comfortable, and fully prepared between sessions.
• Educate clients on self-care practices, stretching, and posture to extend the benefits of each visit.
• Communicate openly with colleagues to support a smooth and supportive team atmosphere.

Qualifications

We are looking for a compassionate licensed massage therapist who combines technical skill with genuine empathy. The ideal candidate holds current licensure to practice in South Dakota and has completed an accredited massage therapy program. Prior experience is valued, though we welcome a thoughtful new licensed massage therapist who demonstrates strong fundamentals and a commitment to client care.

• Active and valid South Dakota massage therapy license.
• Completion of an accredited massage therapy education program.
• Working knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and multiple massage techniques.
• Excellent listening skills and the ability to make clients feel at ease.
• Professionalism, discretion, and respect for client confidentiality.
• Physical stamina to perform hands-on treatments throughout the workday.
• Reliability and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude.
