Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Human Resource Assistant to join our team in Cape Town, South Africa. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the HR department in various administrative tasks, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the recruitment process by posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews
• Maintain employee records and ensure all information is accurate and up-to-date
• Coordinate and assist with onboarding and orientation for new employees
• Prepare and update HR documents, such as employment contracts and performance evaluations
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures
• Assist with payroll processing and maintain accurate records
• Coordinate and participate in employee training and development programs
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
• Assist with employee relations and conflict resolution
• Support the HR team with various administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
• 1-2 years of experience in an HR role
• Knowledge of HR laws and regulations in South Africa
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
