Job Description

As a Security Officer - Entrance Screener in Litchfield Park, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify access, and support daily operations through visible presence, routine activity, and strong customer service. In this access control role, you will help to deter security-related incidents while building positive interactions with visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and site personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points for a busy logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials, authorizations, and delivery information before allowing access.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including perimeter areas, gates, parking areas, and trailer or dock zones, as working conditions may vary by site.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining awareness of restricted areas, directing foot and vehicle traffic, and following post orders related to visitor, vendor, and shipment access.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
