IT Business Analyst / Consultant (mid-senior level)

We are looking for a mid‑senior level IT Business Analyst / Consultant to support our clients in Budapest. The role focuses on business process discovery, documentation, and analysis, working closely with client teams and acts as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. You will play a key role in capturing As‑Is commercial processes, translating business needs into structured documentation, and help design technology solutions that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support organizational goals. This is a highly client‑facing role, requiring strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work onsite with stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment.

What will you do:

Business Analysis & Process Documentation:

• Lead interviews and workshops with client stakeholders to capture As‑Is commercial processes and activities
• Structure, analyze, and document processes into clear and comprehensive process documentation
• Support and contribute to interviews by consolidating inputs and ensuring accuracy and consistency of documented processes
• Overview of E2E business process and understanding of main dependencies

Requirements Gathering & Stakeholder Management

• Gather, analyze, and validate business requirements from client teams
• Act as a daily point of contact for client counterparts to understand operational needs and challenges
• Translate business requirements into structured inputs for system or process improvements
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories and collaborate with development and QA teams during system implementation

What do we look for

• 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Consultant, Product Owner, Product Manager on IT projects
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Knowledge of business analysis methodologies and documentation
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies
• Comfortable working in client‑facing environments (expected 4 days/week onsite at the client office in Budapest)
• University/College Degree
• Professional English skills (German is advantage)
