CLST 1120 – Introduction to Roman Civilization
Job Description:
One temporary part-time position to teach the reception of myth portion of CLST 1120 – Introduction to Roman Civilization. This is a team-taught course. Applicants need to have thorough knowledge of Roman myth and literature (either in the original languages or in English translation), and of reception of Roman myth in English literature (Shakespeare to Modern).
Required Qualifications
- Masters or PhD degree in English
- Demonstrated post-secondary teaching experience related to Roman myth and literature
- Demonstrated post-secondary teaching experience of English literature (Shakespeare to Modern).
- Willing and able to teach in a team environment.
- Available to teach 14:30 – 16:20 MW
- Ability to attend regular meetings related to course and the program, July 2026 – April 2027
