Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Credential Control in Mulberry, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, documenting visitor activity, and responding to security-related concerns. You will remain visible to help deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, processing authorized visitors and contractors, and maintaining accurate entry and exit records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and communicating relevant information to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized access attempts.
• Assist with the enforcement of site traffic, visitor, contractor, and personal protective equipment requirements in accordance with established policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
