As a Security Officer - Full Time - Mornings in Cedar Rapids, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry and exit activity, verify credentials, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting daily operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, work areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining a professional presence, enforcing site entry requirements, and communicating clearly with personnel and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
