About The Role

Due to an expanding pipeline of Building Surveying instructions, we are looking for an Architectural Technician / Technologist or Experienced Interior Architect to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive and collaborative professional, eager to make meaningful contributions within a growing team. This role offers the chance to evolve into a diverse and rewarding position, with ample opportunities to broaden your skillset and take on new challenges over time.

Key Responsibilities

·       Delivering innovative commercial design solutions, space planning, concept designs and preparing drawings, images and visuals for presentation to clients and colleagues.

·       Working with clients, contractors and service providers.

·       Project management and oversight - attending site meetings, inspections, snagging etc. with plenty of scope for professional growth and development.

·       Assisting the Design Manager and Head of department on design tasks, project management and other duties as required.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant degree in Architectural Technology/Interior Architecture, Design, Construction Technology, Building Surveying or related discipline.

• Strong technical knowledge of building construction, materials & specifications, building systems and services.

• Detailed knowledge of current Building Regs, Health & Safety Regulations and general property/construction related legislation.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, 3-D visuals, Photoshop, In-design and other industry standard design software.

• Ability to develop drawings from inception to completion, including preparing construction drawings and writing technical specifications for tendering/pricing purposes.

• Strong analytical mindset with an ability to think outside the box to identify solutions.

• Willingness to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team & contribute to delivering best-in-class outcomes for clients.

• Experience in contract administration, Project Management and dealing with contractors and commercial fit-outs, refurbishments

• Experience of working with clients, building client relationships, working as part of a team in a consultancy-based environment

• Experience in, or interested in energy upgrading of buildings, energy retrofitting, low-carbon design and ESG principles
