Role description:

This role will form an integral part of our Global Excellence Centre (GEC) – Arcadis’ centralized and fully integrated project delivery group. Our GEC is made up of more than 3,000 talented individuals working in offices across Romania, India and Philippines, providing Capability, Capacity and a Competitive Advantage across a wide array of unique projects and services, in collaboration with our global businesses.

The MEPF Discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection) in the GECs is comprised of cross-functional teams, that contribute to the development of innovative MEPF solutions that optimize energy efficiency, sustainability, and occupant comfort. Our ability to effectively manage projects, assess client needs, and provide technical guidance is crucial in delivering successful outcomes, using the most innovative way of doing computational design.

Role accountabilities:

• Develop MEPF designs for industrial and process facilities.

• Design HVAC, plumbing, drainage and utility systems.

• Design lighting, power distribution, fire alarm and security systems.

• Create 2D/3D models, layouts, schematics and technical drawings.

• Prepare calculations, reports and engineering documentation.

• Use AutoCAD, Revit and other design software.

• Ensure compliance with client requirements, codes and industry standards.

• Deliver projects within agreed quality, budget and schedule.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Building Services Engineering.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in MEPF design.

• Experience with industrial/process, semiconductor or manufacturing projects.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

• Knowledge of ASME, ASHRAE and/or local design standards.

• Intermediate English skills.

• Revit, Design Builder, Plant 3D or similar software knowledge is a plus.
