Senior Manager (Insights)

[What the role is]

You will be part of the Insights Team under the Communications Analytics Division (CAD), Community Outreach Group (COG), which gathers, analyses and interprets qualitative data and feedback from multiple sources to generate actionable insights that guide policies, messaging and outreach strategies.

In this role, you will plan and coordinate feedback gathering on topics of interest, maintain analytical standards and derive succinct insights to guide public communications. You will work with the Analytics Team to co-develop tools that enhance and streamline feedback gathering and analysis. You will also support quality data collection by planning training programmes and applying varied training approaches to strengthen capabilities.

[What you will be working on]

Feedback Gathering and Analysis

·         You will execute and support feedback gathering for topics of interest and conduct short and long-cycle analysis to provide timely insights.

·         You will conduct rigorous analysis and present findings effectively, utilising data visualisation and technology to optimize workflows and communicate insights clearly.

·         You will produce reports and presentations that translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders.

·         You will leverage technology and stay current with technological advancements to ensure quality, consistency and rigour in feedback gathered and analyses, recommending tools and approaches that improve work processes and the quality of deliverables.

 

Building Capabilities of Feedback Collection

·         You will strengthen the capabilities of feedback collection through a structured training roadmap, including career milestone programmes and targeted functional training, delivered through varied training approaches that make learning engaging.

·         You will take a systemic approach to capability development by monitoring feedback quality, identifying gaps and implementing effective interventions.

·         You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to cross-learn best practices, synergise training content and ensure that capability development efforts remain current and relevant.

 

Stakeholder Engagement

·         You will work closely with relevant internal teams and agencies to ensure insights are effectively communicated, and capability development efforts are aligned with organisational needs.

You will engage and maintain relationships with stakeholders to support quality feedback collection and timely reporting.

[What we are looking for]

·         At least 3 years of relevant experience in data analysis, or related fields involving data interpretation and visualisation.

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to synthesis information from multiple sources and distil clear, actionable insights.  

·         Experience or interest in capbility development planning, including designing and implementing training programmes.

·         Good presentation skills with the ability to communicate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders

·         Strong organisational, project and time management skills.

·         Meticulous, detail-oriented and able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

·         Interest in learning and applying new technologies and tools to improve work processes and quality.
