Job Description
Pallet Repair Operative (Afternoon Shift) - Dublin
Salary: €28,539.37 per year + 20% Shift Allowance
Shift Pattern:
- Monday to Thursday: 15:00 to 23:30
- Friday: 15:00 to 20:30
Contract: Full-time, 3-Month Fixed-Term Contract
Location: Unit 46, Jamestown Road, Dublin 11, D11 H312, County Dublin

About the role
We're looking for a Pallet Repair Operative to join CHEP's Dublin team on a 3-month fixed-term contract.
You'll play a vital role in inspecting and repairing pallets to ensure they meet our quality standards and are ready for reuse. Working within a busy production environment, you'll contribute to CHEP's commitment to safety, quality and sustainability.
What you'll do
- Inspect pallets for damage and determine repair requirements
- Carry out pallet repairs using hand tools
- Maintain quality standards and production targets
- Follow all site health and safety procedures
- Perform manual handling duties safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Support operational and continuous improvement initiatives
- Work closely with colleagues to achieve team objectives
What we need from you
- Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, production or repair environment is desirable
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding role
- Strong focus on quality and safety
- Reliable with good attendance and timekeeping
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Experience using hand tools or power tools is beneficial
