Pallet Repair Operative (Morning Shift) - Dublin
Salary: €28,539.37 per year
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 15:00
Contract: Full-time, 3-Month Fixed-Term Contract
Location: Unit 46, Jamestown Road, Dublin 11, D11 H312, County Dublin

About the role
We're looking for a Pallet Repair Operative to join CHEP, the global leader in pallet, crate and container pooling, on a 3-month fixed-term contract.
Working as part of our operations team, you'll inspect and repair pallets to ensure they meet CHEP's quality standards before being returned to customers. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced production environment where safety, quality and teamwork are key.
What you'll do
- Inspect pallets for damage and identify repair requirements
- Repair pallets using hand tools and approved repair methods
- Ensure pallets meet quality specifications
- Follow site safety procedures and safe systems of work
- Support production targets while maintaining quality standards
- Carry out manual handling activities safely
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards
- Complete pre-start checks and follow operational procedures
- Work collaboratively to support site performance
What we need from you
- Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, production or repair environment is beneficial
- Comfortable carrying out physical work and manual handling
- Strong attention to detail
- Commitment to health and safety
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
- Experience using hand tools would be advantageous
