Position Overview
The Marketing Intern – Content Creator will support the university’s Marketing & Communications team by developing engaging visual and graphic design content that highlights campus life, academic programs, and university initiatives. This role is ideal for a creative, versatile student interested in storytelling across multiple platforms, including photography and design.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture and edit photos at university events, including academic, campus announcements and student life activities
- Design promotional materials for print and digital platforms, including flyers, posters, social media graphics, and email visuals
- Maintain organized files of photos, graphics, and written materials
- Assist in developing visual content that aligns with the university’s brand standards and messaging
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Upperclassmen preferred
- Strong creative skills across at least two of the following areas: photography, writing, or graphic design
- Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom) or similar platforms
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and content creation
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
- Experience in event photography, content writing,
- Current Mass Communication major or equivalent
